Dog parks
There is a growing trend in households in America, and that trend is that now more households have one or more dogs than those households that have kids. This trend is responsible for the increase in urban dog parks across America. There has been a rapid growth in dog parks also because there isn't much free space to let dogs roam in cities so dog parks give the dogs and their owners a place to be free. Dog parks also pose an awesome socializing opportunity for the owners, in an article that i read a women said that she met her husband at a dog park. With that being said the dog park community has many benefits that allow dog owners to be apart of a community within a community. These dog owners become close with one another almost like family and the same can go along with the dogs, everyone is making friends. Also within these dog parks there is a since of greening he environment because the community of these dog parks keep the park clean beautiful so that the environment and man's best friends can enjoy this priceless opportunity.

Community Gardens
When I first started to research about community gardens I had no idea about the amount of community gardens that there are in America. I honestly only thought that there were maybe 30 to 40 community gardens in large urban areas. To my surprise I found out that not only were there over thousands of community gardens across America but there were also different types of community gardens. When researching I also found that community gardens give people in large cities or smaller cities the opportunity to bond and connect with individuals within those communities. These gardens make for a more healthy way of living not just by what is being planted but also by the interactions between those individuals in those communities. Furthermore community gardens help the environment to become more sustainable and Eco-friendly. On the website of ACGA, which is the American Community Gardening Association it states that community gardens adds more oxygen to the atmosphere than most forest across the world. These community gardens make our environment beautiful and the interactions that happen with the individuals in those communities are priceless.

Objective: To find any tendencies in the traffic
with car make and the different sizes of the models; while adding in the
average number of people in each vehicle.
Method: Sat in the McDonald’s parking lot for an
hour and observed the traffic
Results:

Conclusion: As I observed the traffic I noticed that
the car makes with the larger vehicle sightings had the most people inside.
Also I noticed that Toyota and Nissan had the least amount of trucks or large
vehicle sightings, which makes sense because I can name more small cars models
in those makes.

Global Climate Change
The Medieval Temperature Optimum was a warm period in the Northern Atlantic region between AD 950 to 1250 where temperatures raised above the normal temperatures for at least a century. Researchers explained the temperature change by locating dry sediments that are associated with that time and also by observing the migrations of the Native Americans during that time. The Little Ice Age period occurred after The Medieval Temperature Optimum from about 1350 AD to 1850, the temperature decline was not significant but the temperatures were below average for awhile. It was almost like a very long winter year round, the great artist back in that time depicted this in many of their paintings.
Air Pollution Blog
Warner Robins, Georgia
I'm from Warner Robins and never knew that our air quality wasn't good. To be honest I never really paid attention to the air quality so I wouldn't know but the moderate level that Warner Robins was given makes sense because of the Air Force Base and also the many factories on the outskirts of Warner Robins. The building and managing of the air planes on the Base and also other air contaminating projects impact Warner Robins air quality greatly.

Aluminum on Production
It's hard to believe that aluminium cans start off as a very thin sheet that is a part of an nine ton roll. I always believed that aluminum cans just came in the form of a can, I know that doesn't seem like much thinking but I had never thought of the production of aluminum cans before. I also didn't know aluminum was as recyclable as it is, even during the first part of production where the small disk of aluminum are cut out to form the cans the scraps are recycled and used again. Another interesting thing about the production of the cans is the way the body of the can is form from a lubricant that allows the aluminum to stretch but not tear. The water-based varnish is the most fascinating idea about the production of the cans because it acts a barrier between the soda and the aluminum. I now know that aluminum cans don't start out as just cans.

Google Earth: Bhakra Nangal Dam in India
The Bhakra Nangal Dam in India is a 740 ft concrete gravity dam that stretches across the Sutlej river. With India being one of the most populated countries in the world this dam provides great sustainability resources for the areas around the Bhakra Nangal Dam. The amount of hydroelectricity that the dam creates is tremendous, which also helps with irrigation and other recreational activities around the area.
